非英文母語者在使用英文表達時,常因爲字彙量或英文程度的不足,無法清楚或正確或精準的表達自己的意思,本課程總長度為 14.5 小時,內容全面,希望能提升同學的英文能力。課程有基礎的祈使句開始,進而到各式不同形式的問句、描述事情的方式、動詞的型態、連接詞、主動與被動語態、假設語氣、如何開始一個句子、到大量各類不同的句型,都有完整的說明。

課程包含大量的句型及例句

你將可以學到大量的句型,搭配大量的美國人實際會用的例句,讓你對這些例句有感覺,而不是冷冰冰的規則,譬如下面由簡單發展到複雜的例句

Jessie laughed.

Jessie laughs a lot.
在動詞後加上頻率

Jessie is always laughing.
加上頻率 always,之後的動詞用 Ving

Jessie is laughing at Alan.
句型改為現在進行式

Jessie is laughing at Alan’s haircut.
加上 Alan 的 haircut

Jessie was cracking up at Alan’s stupid haircut.
laugh 改為 crack up,crack up 是大笑,美國人口語上常用 crack up,譬如 You crack me up. 是指你讓我笑翻了

Jessie was bent over laughing at Alan’s stupid haircut, which his mom given him.
cracking up 改為 bent over laughing,bent over laughing 是笑到無法控制的笑,比 cracking up 笑得更開心了。同時加上 which 的 relative clause 關係子句,which 代表 haircut。注意,這裡的 which 子句需使用過去完成式。細節就留給 Luke 老師在課程中教你吧!

Alan’s stupid haircut, given to him by his mom, made Jessie laugh until she cried.
將 Alan’s stupid haircut 移到句首,這時有更加強調 haircut 的意思,後面接 given to him by his mom,注意這裏仍須使用過去分詞 given。

As Alan removed his hat to reveal the terrible haircut his mom had given him the day before, milk began to squirt from Jessie's nostrils. She begin giggling uncontrollably.
加入更多的細節,同時 had given 是用過去完成式,因為是發生在 removed 之前。

英文句子的開頭用字

一般非英文母語人士造句時,開頭常常是用 I,母語人士則常用其他不同的方式開頭,尤其是在書信或者是社群媒體中的貼文、留言等,不同方式的開頭是英文能力的一個重要表現。

課程中老師會介紹許多不同的開頭方式,包含副詞、不定詞、Ving、介系詞片語、過去分詞,甚至是以 Having + 過去分詞來開頭,學會了這些,讓你的英文更更上一層樓。

完整的連接詞教學

連接詞包含「從屬連接詞」以及「對等連接詞」,不管是在一般的口語或是文章中,都非常頻繁的使用到。

 

「從屬連接詞」包含 although, even if, even though, whereas, because, once, as soon as, since, ever since, until, unless if

 

「對等連接詞」則包含 and, or, yet, but, so, so that 等。老師在課程中對連接詞有完整的介紹,幾乎每一個連接詞都用一個完整的影片來說明。
